Beall Barclay: How many years have you been with Beall Barclay?  

Becky Jackson: 5 Years

BB: What is your role within Beall Barclay?  

Becky: I am an Administrative Assistant.   I provide support for accountants, bookkeepers and partners.   Some of my duties include: assembling tax returns, financial statements, composing letters, releasing and verifying acceptance of e-files.

BB: How you contribute to the success of Beall Barclay?  

Becky: Attention to detail and getting assignments completed in a timely manner.   I try to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

BB: What did you do prior to joining Beall Barclay?

Becky: I was an office manager for an auto repair shop.

BB: Are there any memorable experiences you’d like to share that typify what it’s like to work at Beall Barclay?  

Becky: I have had a life changing experience while working at Beall Barclay.   My 16 year old son was killed in an accident.   The love and support shown to me during this time has been unbelievable.   When you hear all of us talking about how we care about one another, I can tell you from firsthand experience that those are not just words; it’s our way of life at Beall Barclay.

BB: Talk about the culture at Beall Barclay. What makes this a unique place to work?  

Becky: The people who work here genuinely care about the level of service given to our clients.   We work hard but it is understood that we all have families and lives outside of the office and we are all encouraged to achieve a life work balance.

BB: Beall Barclay prides itself in enabling associates to maintain a strong life/work balance.   How has this approach impacted you?  

Becky: I was able to cut back to four days a week during the summers.   Having that time with my son was invaluable.

BB: What does the name Beall Barclay mean to you?  

Becky: Beall Barclay means cutting edge technology and excellence.

BB: How do you see your future at Beall Barclay unfolding?  

Becky: At this point, I am here for the long term.   I am always looking forward to new technology.

BB: What qualities do you think a person needs to have to succeed at Beall Barclay?  

Becky: Willing to learn, you need to be prepared to keep up with the technology, so we can get the job done the most efficient way possible.   Be a good communicator on every level, whether you are speaking to clients, admin assistant, accountant or partner.

BB: What do you like to do outside of work?

Becky: Reading, blogging, church and spending time with my husband and friends
