Day in the Life Archives

I've been working at Beall Barclay since December 1999 when I graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. I live in my hometown, Greenwood, Arkansas with my husband, Michael, and our two daughters, Abbey and Emerson.

You may have asked yourself before, "What is a typical day for an accountant?" What I have learned is there is not a "typical" day while working at Beall Barclay. My "typical" day consists of a blend of helping and training other staff or working with team members, connecting with clients, and performing audit procedures or reviewing working papers. I am privileged to able to communicate directly with the clients and assist them to reach their goals and participate in their business. What I enjoy most about my "typical" day is that it keeps me on my toes. At Beall Barclay, it is a continuous learning environment.

The people and team environment are probably one of the main reasons many employees stay at Beall Barclay. The people here genuinely care about you on a professional and personal level, and they do whatever it takes to help you grow and advance in your career.

Overall, working at Beall Barclay gives me the opportunity to work with some of my best friends. I am a part of a group of people who want to do a good job for our clients and grow to make a future for me and those who will join the family in the future.
